iLikePDF is a free, ad-supported website with 210+ browser-based PDF and image tools. There's no sign-up and no file upload — every tool processes your file locally, in your own browser, using JavaScript. Nothing you work on ever reaches an iLikePDF server.
Why we built this
Most people don't need a subscription just to compress a PDF for a job application, resize a passport photo, or convert a scanned image to text. They need the task done in the next two minutes, without creating an account, without a credit card, and — increasingly — without handing a personal document (a signed contract, an ID photo, a mark sheet) to a server they know nothing about.
iLikePDF exists to solve exactly that: a large, genuinely free catalog of single-purpose tools, each with a guide explaining how to use it well, and every one of them running where it should — on your own device.
How the "no upload" claim actually works
This isn't a marketing line — it's how the tools are built. Each tool uses your browser's own capabilities (the Canvas API for images, and open-source libraries such as pdf-lib, pdf.js, Tesseract.js and heic2any for PDF and format-specific work) to read, transform and rebuild your file entirely on your device. The finished file is then offered to you as a direct download. At no point does your file travel over the network to an iLikePDF server, because there is nothing on our end that receives it.
A handful of tools (OCR text recognition and HEIC photo conversion) load their processing library from a public CDN the first time you use them — this is a one-time download of code, not your file, and works the same way a webpage loads a font or an icon.
